About me

I am an American Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and couples. Having lived and worked abroad as well as in the United States I have had the privilege of working with people from numerous countries and cultures in various stages of life within the context of community mental health, education, and private practice.

Primarily I work with people struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss. I also work with individuals, couples and families struggling to maintain their relationships in their personal and/or professional lives. For some of us these efforts are life-long; for others one or more issues arise during times of transition.

I am devoted to providing a safe and warm environment for an exploration of your past and present circumstances to promote more self-awareness, relief from stress and anxiety, better relationships, greater life satisfaction, and improved overall health. I currently live in the Czech Republic and have a private practice in Prague. In addition I work with patients remotely, using HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform Whereby.

My theoretical orientation, the guiding principal of my therapeutic approach, is drawn from a variety of sources including, but not limited to: Attachment Theory, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, Object-Relations Theory and Psychodynamic Therapy.
